Title: This is How Maine Sounds
By: Atlas Obscura
For the social portion of the branded campaign, we sought to deliver on the promise to transport our audience to Maine via sound. Atlas Obscura Studio hired a photographer to capture stills, video, and audio. I made audiograms out of these assets, which took the format of stories and in-feed posts for Instagram.
The team at HLabs was already in the process of creating the hubpage that would house the campaign’s place listings and other partnership content; so I used their early drafts as a guide for designing the social content.
I designed street posters that went up in various New York City neighborhoods, inviting passers-by to take an instant trip to Maine through their headphones.
Drafts exploring ways to visualize Maine and incorporate the QR code.
